About Neda Ukraden
Neda Ukraden, born on August 16, 1950 in Imotski, Croatia, is a well-known Eastern European pop singer. She has released close to thirty studio albums between the years 1975 and 2013, including “Srce u Srcu” (1975), “Hocu Tebe” (1985), “Jorgovan” (1993), and “Biti Svoja” (2012).
Ukraden began singing in her late teens but put her music career on hold to pursue English, law, and philology degrees at the University of Sarajevo. In 1969 she released her first EP titled “Sve Sto Moje Srce Zna / Ako Me Trebas”.
Born to Serbian parents Dusan and Andelija, Ukraden spent her childhood in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. She was married to Milan Bilbija with whom she had a child named Jelena.
