About Necole Kane
Necole Kane is a blogger and entrepreneur best known for dominating the urban entertainment blogging world. She made her debut as a blogger in 2008 and gained recognition for her work, earning accolades such as Black Enterprise’s Black Blogger of the Month and the Soul Train Music Award For Best Soul Site.
She was born on September 2, 1986, in Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland. Despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of both parents at a young age, she persevered and later moved to Detroit to begin anew after her mother’s passing.
Before making her mark in the blogging industry, Kane studied Television & Film in college and landed an internship with a radio station in Detroit which eventually led to employment as an Assistant Marketing Director/Promotions Coordinator.
In July of 2015, Necole decided to leave behind her prominent career in blogging and shifted gears by creating an apparel line called BC Society. Her contributions have been recognized not only within the blogosphere but also by mainstream media outlets such as Ebony magazine’s Power 100 list.
Kane’s achievements include being honored at the Black Weblog Awards with Best Gossip Blog and Blogger Of The Year titles alongside being notably featured on BET’s 106 & Park – marking a historic moment as she was recognized as the first-ever blogger to appear on this platform.
