About Nayeon
Nayeon, born on September 22, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea, is a pop singer known for being part of the Korean pop group Twice. The group released their debut album, The Story Begins, in 2015.
Before her fame in the music industry, Nayeon competed on the reality show SIXTEEN to determine who would make the final roster of Twice. The Story Begins reached number 3 on the Korean charts and number 1 in Taiwan which led to a Best New Female Artist Award for the band.
She was also the first member of Twice to make her solo debut in June 2022. Nayeon grew up in Seoul and as a child participated in a modeling contest before being cast by idol agency JYP Entertainment.
