About Nathalie Makoma
Nathalie Makoma, born on February 24, 1982 in Gabon, is a pop singer known for her time as a member of the Christian pop and R&B group Makoma. She later pursued a solo career and released albums such as I Saw the Light (2005). Notably, she also reached the final of the Dutch singing competition Idols.
Before gaining fame, Makoma began her musical journey by performing with her family band in 1993 when it was known as Nouveau Testament.
In addition to her music career, she placed second on the Dutch edition of Dancing with the Stars in 2009. Her siblings Annie, Pengani, Tutala, Duma and Martin were also part of Makoma. In 2015, she married Jean-Claude Atamboto.
