Natasha Stuart (born November 29, 1976) was an Australian singer and songwriter. She gained attention for her participation on The Voice Australia in 2019 while battling cancer, using her platform to advocate for regular breast examinations among young women. Over a two-decade career, she provided backup vocals for artists like Jessica Mauboy, Anthony Callea, Boy George, Michael Bolton and Tim Campbell.
Stuart released her album Light This Fuse in 2012 and later spoke openly about being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 41. Tragically, she passed away from the disease in 2020 after valiantly fighting it for two years.
Her personal experience was marked by poignant parallels; at just 14 years old, Natasha lost her mother to breast cancer. Despite these challenges, Stuart continued to make music that resonated with audiences worldwide and amassed a following on Spotify with tens of thousands of streams for some of her tracks.
