About Narelle Kheng
Narelle Kheng, born on September 24, 1993 in Singapore, is a well-known bassist and vocalist who rose to fame as a member of the Singaporean pop band The Sam Willows. In May of 2012, Narelle joined her brother Benjamin and friends Sandra Riley Tang and Jonathan Chua to form the group. Since then, they have performed at various festivals including SXSW Festival in Texas, the Canadian Music Festival, MU:CON, and Zandari Festa in Seoul.
Narelle Kheng’s musical journey with The Sam Willows saw them release a self-titled EP in 2012 which included their popular song “Glasshouse.” A music video for this song was released in 2013. Narelle performs alongside her brother Benjamin in the band and has also shared moments with her nephew on social media.
