Nancy Valen, born on December 16, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York, is an American TV actress best known for her role as Samantha Thomas in the popular series Baywatch. Valen also made guest appearances on several other hit shows including Saved by the Bell, Hull High, CSI, Miami Vice, and Friends.
Prior to her acting career, she grew up in New York City and Fort Lauderdale and began modeling at the age of twelve. She studied at Uta Hagen’s acting studio and declined a theater scholarship to the University of Florida in favor of pursuing professional performance opportunities.
In 1994, Nancy married Nels Van Patten.
