Nancy McKeon, born on April 4, 1966, in Long Island, New York, is a TV actress known for her role as tough girl Jo on the NBC television series The Facts of Life and for appearing in The Division. She won two awards at the Marco Island Film Festival for her role in the short film “A Wakening” in 2000. Additionally, she portrayed Jessica Mason in the TV series “Panic”.
Prior to her fame, McKeon appeared in a commercial for Hallmark cards and was discovered by a casting director which led to her breakout role in The Facts of Life. During the 1980s, she dated Michael J. Fox and had roles on soap operas such as The Secret Storm and Another World.
In terms of family life, she married Marc Andrus in 2003 and they later welcomed two daughters.
