Nancy Jewel McDonie was born on April 13, 2000, in Daegu, South Korea. She is a pop singer and is best known as the youngest member of the South Korean girl group Momoland.

Momoland gained recognition for their debut EP “Welcome to Momoland” in 2016. Before her music career took off, Nancy spent her childhood in the United States before returning to South Korea and attending Hanlim Multi Arts High School.

Notably, Nancy showcased her talent on television by competing on the first season of Korea’s Got Talent in 2011. Her father, Richard Jowel McDonie, is American while her mother Lee Myeong-ju is Korean. She also has an older sister named Brenda who happens to be a cellist.
