About Nan Martin
Nan Martin was a movie actress known for her role as the mother of Freddy Krueger in ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors’. She also played Mrs. Lauder on the sitcom The Drew Carey Show. Born on July 15, 1927 in Illinois, she grew up in Santa Monica, California before making her film debut in “The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit” in 1956.
Before her death at home in Malibu five years after her last film “Thicker Than Water” (2005), Nan Martin had been married to composer Robert Emmett Dolan and architect Harry Gesner.
