About Namrata Purohit
Namrata Purohit (born August 24, 1993) is a renowned fitness instructor from Mumbai, India. She co-founded The Pilates Studio brand and has gained recognition for her work as the official fitness trainer of the Miss India Organization.
Purohit has trained numerous Bollywood celebrities and athletes, including Arjun Kapoor. Before embarking on her career in fitness instruction, she earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Jai Hind College and later pursued a master’s degree in sports management from Loughborough University.
At just 21 years old in 2015, Purohit published her debut book “The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Being Fit.” Additionally, she served as the official Pilates coach for the Mumbai City FC soccer team in 2014.
Purohit runs The Pilates Studio brand alongside her father Samir.
