About Nadia Fanchini
Nadia Fanchini is a prominent World Cup alpine ski racer hailing from northern Italy. Born on June 25, 1986, in Lovere, Bergamo, Lombardy, she has represented her country in three Olympics, five World Championships and 14 World Cups.
In 2017, Fanchini faced health challenges when a tumor was detected. Initially reluctant to compete in the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang due to this diagnosis, she ultimately participated in the Super-G and Downhill races.
In addition to her own success as a skier, Fanchini comes from a family of competitive skiers; her younger sisters Elena and Sabrina have also been part of Italy’s World Cup team.
