About Mvntana
Mvntana, born on November 28, 1997 in Queens, New York, is a prominent music producer known for his impactful presence within the New Jersey club music scene. He has gained significant attention for his remixes of popular tracks such as Chris Brown’s “Run It” and Beyonce‘s “Sorry.” In December 2017, he released his EP titled The Bounce Tape.
Before rising to fame, Mvntana endured challenges when Hurricane Sandy destroyed his family home in Queens. Consequently, he relocated to Cary, North Carolina.
Recognized for his talent and innovative approach to music production, Mvntana gained notable recognition when his remix of the viral Vine sensation “21” was promoted by influential social media personalities like King Bach and PewDiePie. Additionally, he was featured in Nyema‘s widely acclaimed “Clout Chaser (1-4)” songs.
Born Marcus Lockett and raised as the second oldest amongst six siblings in Queens before eventually settling in Atlanta, Georgia; Mvntana credits much of his success to the unwavering support from his mother Dionne Lockett.
