About Mozhan Marno
Mozhan Marno is a television actress best known for her role as the reporter Ayla Sayyad in seasons 2 and 3 of the Netflix series House of Cards. Born on May 3, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, Marno received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French & German comparative literature from Columbia University before earning her Masters of Fine Arts in acting from the Yale School of Drama.
Aside from acting, Marno also directs and has written a feature-length screenplay titled When the Lights Went Out. In July 2013, it was produced and adapted as a play by her and staged at New York Stage & Film.
Marno was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
