Monalisa Chinda Coker is a Nigerian actress born on September 19, 1974 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She has gained prominence as a Nollywood film and television actress, appearing in over 200 films throughout her career. In addition to her acting work, she also hosts the talk show “You & I”.
Prior to her fame, she earned a theatre degree and made her acting debut in 1996 with the film “Pregnant Virgin”. Chinda Coker is also known for her philanthropic efforts; she established the Arise Monalisa Foundation to help underprivileged youth in Africa.
In regard to family life, Chinda Coker was previously married to Dejo Richards but they divorced following battery allegations. They share one daughter named Tamar Lily. Later on, she remarried Victor Coker after their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship.
