Mona Scott-Young (born February 15, 1967) is a Haitian-American TV mogul and producer. She is best known for being the CEO of Monami Entertainment, the company behind the popular franchise Love & Hip Hop.
Prior to her television success, Scott-Young worked at Radio City Music Hall where she was asked to manage the Brooklyn group TrackMasters. Later on, she co-founded Violator, a management company with Chris Lighty. She also served as executive producer for the 2013 film The Promise Keeper.
Scott-Young was honored at ASCAP’s “Woman Behind the Music” event in 2011. In 2005, she married Shawn Young and they have two children together.
