Mohini Dey is an Indian professional bass player born in Mumbai, India on July 20, 1996. She became a regular musician at live venues in Mumbai by the age of 13 and gained popularity by sharing videos of her performances on her YouTube channel, which has amassed over 150,000 subscribers.
Her musical journey began when she was given a Fender jazz Bass guitar at the age of 10. Mohini has also performed at the NAMM convention in January 2018. She comes from a musically inclined family – her father Sujoy is a bassist and her mother Romia is a classical singer. Additionally, she has a sister named Esani who plays guitar.
