About Misty Upham
Misty Upham, born on July 6, 1982, was a movie actress known for her roles in Frozen River and August: Osage County. She received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her performance in Frozen River as Lila Littlewolf. Additionally, she appeared in television series such as Big Love and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
Before gaining recognition in the film industry, Upham portrayed Mrs. Blue Cloud in the 2002 film Skins. Tragically, she passed away at a young age following a fall from a cliff in Washington State. Upham was of Blackfeet Nation Native American descent and spent much of her upbringing on the Muckleshoot Reservation in Auburn, Washington.
