Miss Montreal, born on September 22, 1984, in Dedemsvaart, Netherlands, is a Dutch pop singer and guitarist. She has gained fame for her hit songs “Just a Flirt,” “Wonderful Days,” and “Being Alone at Christmas,” all of which reached the top ten in the Netherlands. In addition to her music career, she has also worked as a coach on The Voice of Holland.

Prior to her solo career, Miss Montreal was part of the musical trio Ysis before starting her solo career following the group’s disbandment in 2008. She also recorded the theme song for the children’s television show Huisje, Boompje, Beestje.Her birth name is Roos-Anne Hans; her parents are Gert Jan Hans and Dorothee Spijker.
