About MISA
MISA (born October 15, 1993 in Okayama, Japan) is a Japanese bassist known for her work with the J-rock group Band-Maid. She gained recognition for her bass work on the popular songs “Puzzle” and “Secret My Lips”.
Before pursuing a career as a bassist, MISA initially started playing piano at the age of three. In 2008, she joined her first band before attending the Tokyo School of Music where she met fellow band-mate Akane who asked her to play bass for BAND-MAID.
MISA is recognized for donning a long black dress and often enjoys drinking whiskey on the rocks during performances. She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
