Before gaining fame, Mis Pastelitos began her YouTube journey in June of 2014 with a video tutorial titled “PASTEL DE PETALOS ARCOIRIS CON BETUN DE MANTEQUILLA (Petal Cake Tutorial).” She later published her own recipe book called Mis Pastelitos: Recetario Dulce y Eshpeshial in 2015.
