Mirta Wons (born March 12, 1965) is an Argentine actress best known for her work on a number of television series and stage productions. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she began her career as a kindergarten teacher before transitioning to acting.
Wons gained recognition for her roles in TV series such as Stan and Oliver, Sweet Love, and Violetta. She also received acclaim for her performance in the stage production of Nine which earned her an ACE Award. Additionally, she won a Silver Condor Award for her role in the 1999 film The Amateur.
Outside of her professional achievements, Wons has been open about her background growing up in Buenos Aires within a family of Polish Jewish heritage. She has one sister named Viviana.
