About Miraphora Mina
Miraphora Mina, born on January 26, 1965 in England, is a renowned graphic designer best known for her work within the Harry Potter franchise. She has been involved in every film since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, designing merchandise as well as props under the Harry Potter umbrella.
Before gaining fame through her work on the beloved franchise, Mina graduated in Theatre Design from London’s Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in 1987. As a trivia note, an eponymous character was created in her honor—a Hogwarts student who belonged to House Gryffindor alongside Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Miraphora Mina co-founded MinaLima Designs with her husband Eduardo Lima who is also a fellow graphic designer and has worked on previous Harry Potter projects.
