About Mira Sethi
Mira Sethi (born January 13, 1986) is a Pakistani TV actress, model, writer and journalist. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, she gained recognition for her roles in various television series on the Hum TV and Geo TV Networks. She is best known for playing the recurring character of Rabia in the 2013 drama series Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai.
Prior to her acting career, Sethi attended Wellesley College where she graduated in 2010 and also studied at the University of Oxford during her junior year focusing on English and South Asian studies. After working as an editor with The Wall Street Journal, she returned to Pakistan in 2011 to pursue her acting career. Her debut role came in 2013 when she starred as Natasha in the Silvatein series.
Aside from acting, Sethi is also a talented writer and journalist who has published a collection of short stories through Knopf and Bloomsbury in 2018.
Sethi was born into a family steeped in journalism; both of her parents Najam Sethi and Jugnu Mohsin are well-known journalists based out of Lahore.
