She is most famous for her portrayal of Maggie Habib on BBC1’s The Thin Blue Line and as Dr. Sandra Malik on ITV’s The Bill. In addition to these roles, she has also appeared in other popular television series including The Invisibles and Coronation Street.
Before gaining fame as an actress, Anwar obtained a degree in performance from Accrington & Rossendale College before furthering her studies at London’s Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
