Mildred Harris (November 29, 1901) is an American film actress known for her work as a child star and leading lady. She was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and made her first screen appearance at the age of 11 in The Post Telegrapher. Harris later went on to star in The Magic Cloak of Oz.
While she initially found success in silent films, the transition to talkies proved challenging and led to a slowdown in her career as job offers diminished. In her personal life, Harris was married to Charlie Chaplin for two years and they had one son who died in infancy. She also had additional marriages with Everett Terrence McGovern and Bill Fleckenstein.
