About Mikaela Davis
Mikaela Davis is a rock singer, songwriter, and harpist known for her band Mikaela Davis and Southern Star. She was born on April 9, 1992 in Rochester, New York.
Davis started taking harp and piano lessons at the age of eight and went on to study the harp at Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York with plans to join a symphony.
She gained recognition as a classically-trained harpist playing rock music and has toured with the folk group The Staves. Her album “Delivery” was produced by Grammy-winner John Congleton who has worked with artists such as St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, and David Byrne.
Davis grew up in Rochester, raised by her mother and grandmother after her father moved to California when she was 11. She dated her tour manager Cameron Dean.
