About Michel’le Toussaint
Michel’Le Toussaint, born on December 5, 1970 in Compton, California, is an R&B singer known for her work as a recording artist and appearances on the TV One reality series R&B Divas: Los Angeles. She achieved chart success with singles like “Something in My Heart” and “No More Lies,” both of which made waves on the Billboard R&B charts.
Prior to her solo career, she gained attention as a guest vocalist for the World Class Wreckin’ Cru’s 1987 single “Turn Off the Lights,” substituting for Mona Lisa who was unable to make it to the studio. Her self-titled debut album released in 1989 went double Platinum.
In addition to her music career, Michel’Le married Suge Knight in 1999 and together they have a daughter named Bailei born in 2002. Her later works include non-album singles such as “Freedom to Love” and “It Still Hurts.”
Her album Hung Jury reached #56 on the Billboard R&B chart in 1998 solidifying her place within the music industry.
