About Michelle Sussett
Michelle Sussett, born on August 2, 1995 in Venezuela, is a pop singer and former contestant on American Idol. Known for her energetic performances in both English and Spanish, she gained attention during her audition when judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan all voted for her to advance in the competition.
Before gaining fame on American Idol, Michelle emigrated from Venezuela to Miami at the age of 18 to pursue a career in music. In 2015, she won the Ultimate Miami Voice Competition.
After moving to the United States, Michelle lived with her father while her mother remained in Venezuela. In September of 2017, she celebrated her father’s birthday with him.
