About Michelle Morgan
Michelle Morgan, born on July 16, 1981, in Calgary, Canada, is a Canadian actress known for her role as Samantha Louise ‘Lou’ Fleming in the CBC series Heartland from 2007 to 2013 and her portrayal of Stacey in Package Deal in 2013.
Prior to her acting career, she studied theatre and literature at the University of Toronto. She also performed in Toronto sketch comedy shows and collaborated with comedians Nathan Fielder and Chris Locke on film projects.
Morgan was born into a family of Chilean heritage within Canada. She has five siblings and a sister named Wendy. In 2012, she married Derek Tisdelle, with whom she had a daughter named Mara Carmen the previous year. They welcomed their son Noah Santiago in 2013.
