Mia Swier (born September 1, 1985) is an American TV producer known for her work at Fox Networks and previously at Showtime Networks. She has contributed to various television programs including Saturday Night Live, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The Tony Awards, and the Super Bowl.
Prior to her current roles, Swier gained experience working for ABC, NBC, and USA Network while attending New York University’s Steinhardt School for Media Studies and Television Production. Additionally, she spent several years at White Cherry Entertainment before co-founding Effin Media in 2009
Besides her career in television production, Mia Swier is also recognized as a musician who has performed as a bassist and vocalist in bands such as Shoot the Freak, Guns n’ Hoses and Mad Moon Riot.
Swier’s personal life includes ties to Darren Criss whom she began dating in 2010; they got engaged in January 2018 and married in February 2019. In October of 2021 they announced they were expecting their first child together named Bluesywho was born April of that year.
