About Mercedes Javid
Mercedes Javid, also known as “MJ,” was born on August 16, 1972 in Iran. She is a reality star and real estate agent who gained fame as a co-star of the popular Bravo reality show Shahs of Sunset.
Prior to her television career, Javid studied English Literature at California State University, Northridge, earning her degree in 2002.
During season 2 of Shahs of Sunset, it was revealed that Javid is a convicted felon due to an incident in 1994.
Javid’s family life has been featured prominently on the show. Her parents divorced when she was young, but chose to live in the same complex for the sake of their child. In 2018, she married Tommy Feight and they welcomed their son Shams in 2019.
