Melissa Caddick (April 21, 1971) was an Australian businesswoman known for operating an elaborate Ponzi scheme. Suspected of fraudulently misappropriating between A$20 and A$30 million in funds from clients, she used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle including properties, travel, luxury cars, artwork, designer clothing, and jewelry.
After disappearing the day authorities raided her Sydney home, she was declared dead following the discovery of her foot on a beach. Caddick graduated from Peakhurst High School and later enrolled in a business college while working as a secretary.
In June 2013, she started her own financial services business with most clients being family members or close friends. In 2013, she divorced her first husband Tony Caddick with whom she had a son born in 2006. At the time of her disappearance, Melissa was survived by her second husband Anthony Koletti.
