About Melisa Cantiveros
Melisa Cantiveros, born on April 6, 1988 in the Philippines, is a Filipina actress and television personality. She is best known for her roles on the ABS-CBN television series Kokey @ Ako and Maalaala Mo Kaya. Additionally, she emerged as the winner of the 2009-2010 season of Pinoy Big Brother and also starred in her own reality series, Melason. In 2016, she began hosting the morning talk show Magandang Buhay.
Before rising to fame on television, Cantiveros attended Mindanao State University in General Santos City, Philippines. She made her television debut in 2009 on Pinoy Big Brother.
Aside from her acting career, Cantiveros hosted a show titled Happy, Yipee, Yehey at one point. In 2013 she married comedian Jason Francisco whom she co-starred with in Pinoy Big Brother and Melason. The couple has two daughters named Amelia and Stela.
