About Melinda Coleman
Melinda Coleman (born December 21, 1961) was an American reality star known as the mother of Daisy Coleman. Daisy was the subject of the 2016 Netflix documentary Audrie & Daisy, and both Melinda and Daisy promoted the film before her daughter’s death in August 2020. Tragically, Melinda died by suicide in December 2020.
Prior to her time in the spotlight, Melinda worked as a veterinarian and also pursued bodybuilding. Following her daughter’s assault, she became a sexual assault victim advocate. She faced additional hardships when her home burned down in a fire in 2013.
Personal tragedies included losing her son Tristan in a car accident in 2018 and her husband Michael in a car accident in 2009. She had two other sons named Logan and Charlie.
