About Melina Leon
Melina Leon (born July 12, 1973) is a Puerto Rican pop singer. She first gained recognition as a member of the girl group Las Cheris during her teenage years before embarking on a successful solo career. Her albums Mujeres Liberadas (1997) and No Seas Cobarde (2008) have achieved chart success.
Prior to her solo career, Leon performed with other girl groups including The Rubi and Girls of Puerto Rico. In addition to her music career, she has dabbled in acting, making appearances in television series such as Escandalos: Todo es Real Excepto Sus Nombres.
In 2006, she married Ruy Delgado.
