Melanie Hill, born on January 11, 1962 in England, is a renowned TV actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Maggie Croft on the BBC series Waterloo Road and Hazel on BBC One’s Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Additionally, she has appeared on popular series such as Emmerdale, Hot Money, and Juliet Bravo.

Prior to gaining fame, Hill attended the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she won the Vanbrugh Award. Her talents led to roles in films like Brassed Off (1996), Stardust (2007), and White Girl (2009).

Notably, Hill was married to British actor Sean Bean for seven years and they had two daughters named Lorna and Molly before divorcing in 1997.
