Mel B, better known as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls, is an English pop singer who had a solo career before the band reunited. Her song “I Want You Back” topped the charts in 2013 and she’s also been a judge on America’s Got Talent. Before her fame, Mel was a dancer at a resort hotel and part of an R&B group called Touch which later became the Spice Girls. In 2006, there were tabloid headlines about her brief relationship with comedian Eddie Murphy – they had one child together in 2007. Her real name is Melanie Janine Brown and she has been married twice: to Jimmy Gulzar from 1998 to 2000, and Stephen Belafonte whom she wed in 2007 (they separated in 2016). She has three daughters called Angel, Madison and Phoenix. Joining Mel in the Spice Girls are Victoria Beckham, Geri Estelle Halliwell (Ginger), Emma Lee Bunton (Baby) and Melanie Jayne Chisholm (Sporty).
