About Meggin Penkal
Meggin Penkal (born September 10, 1976) is a stuntwoman known for her work on blockbuster films such as Olympus Has Fallen and The Frozen Ground. She has also worked on television shows including Make It or Break It, Raising Hope, and Shake It Up!.
Before her career in stunts, Penkal was a member of the Parkettes gymnastics troupe in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she trained at the National Gymnastics Center. She also competed as a gymnast and cheerleader, becoming a state champion in gymnastics. In addition to her work in film and television, she created a YouTube channel called Fit And Fun With Coach Meggin featuring gymnastics tutorials from beginner to advanced levels.
Penkal was born in Nashville, Tennessee but moved to Allentown at a young age before eventually settling in Emmaus. Her interest in gymnastics was sparked by her older sister’s involvement in the sport. Additionally, Penkal’s husband Steve Kim designed the cover logo for her YouTube channel.
