About McKenna Kelley
McKenna Kelley is a gymnast known for being the daughter of Mary Lou Retton. Born on April 15, 1997, in Houston, Texas, she joined the LSU gymnastics team as part of the class of 2019 after a successful high school career. Her junior career included being named co-champion of the 2014 Nastia Liukin Cup and she was a Level 10 gymnast by the time she reached college.
She comes from a sporty family; her father Shannon Kelley is a former quarterback at the University of Texas and she has three sisters who have been involved in some form of gymnastics. In order to focus on her passion for gymnastics, McKenna was homeschooled during her senior year of high school.
