Maysoon Zayid is an American actress and comedian born on September 7, 1974, in New Jersey. She is recognized for her diverse guest appearances on popular shows such as Law & Order, NBC Nightly News, and ABC’s 20/20.
Zayid made her television debut on the soap opera As the World Turns and later transitioned to a career in comedy and stand-up. In 2003, she co-founded the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival.
