Mayra Dias Gomes is a Brazilian novelist, reporter, and media personality born on December 15, 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is the daughter of award-winning author and screenwriter Dias Gomes.
Gomes wrote her debut novel, Fugalaca, at the age of 16 and it was published when she was 19. She later worked as a music writer for a prominent Brazilian newspaper. Her published works include One Thousand and One Nights of Silence and Dias Gomes, a collection of interviews with her father.
She has also written for Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, and VH1 Brazil. Additionally, she portrayed May Valentine on the wrestling web and TV series NWA Powerrr.
