About Maylin Wende
Maylin Wende (born September 22, 1988 in Stuttgart, Germany) is a German pair figure skater known for her achievements in the sport. She has represented Germany in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics alongside her partner and husband Daniel Wende. The duo is two-time German national pair figure skating champions.
Wende’s skating career began at an early age when she competed as a singles figure skater starting from four years old in 1992. She later transitioned to pairs figure skating at the age of 17 and went on to win the 2006 Junior German national championship with Steffen Hormann.
In addition to their national success, Maylin and Daniel achieved sixth place twice in the European Grand Prix events in both 2011 and 2014. They also secured fourth place at the Nebelhorn Trophy competition in 2011.
Besides her professional accomplishments, Maylin Wende shares a personal life with her figure skating partner-turned-husband Daniel Wende. The couple also have a daughter together.
