Maude Garrett (born March 6, 1986) is an Australian television, radio, and web video personality. She has worked as a TV show host for Australian Nickelodeon, American radio, and the YouTube news channel SourceFed. In addition to her on-screen work, she is also the founder of GeekBomb – a website and YouTube channel dedicated to “unleashing your inner geek” through its content.
Prior to gaining recognition in the entertainment industry, Garrett competed for a television hosting position on Australia’s Channel V show Fresh Meat in 2005. Although she did not win, this experience led her to leave a sticky note on the head of Nickelodeon’s desk that read “My Name Is Maude, give me a job.” This bold move paid off when she started working for them in 2006.
In 2011 Garrett was featured on For Him Magazine Australia’s Sexiest 100 list. She comes from a notable family background as the niece of former frontman of the Australian band Midnight Oil and politician Peter Garrett.
