About Mathilde Froustey
Mathilde Froustey is a professional ballet dancer born on June 8, 1985 in Bordeaux, France. She rose to fame as a principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet after having performed as a soloist of the Paris Opera Ballet. Froustey began training in ballet at the age of 9 to help with back problems she experienced during her childhood.
She received a gold medal at the 2004 Varna International Ballet Competition and is originally from Bordeaux, France.
