About Massoumeh Ebtekar
Massoumeh Ebtekar, born on September 21, 1960 in Tehran, Iran, is a prominent politician who made history as the third female member of Iran’s cabinet. She has held significant positions such as Vice President of Iran for Women and Family Affairs and also led the Department of Environment.
Prior to her political career, Ebtekar acquired a bachelor’s degree from Shahid Beheshti University. She later gained further recognition for her contributions to the 2010 book titled “Moral Ground”. In 1981, she married Mohammad Hashemi.
