About Marla Hiromi
Marla Hiromi was a Japanese TV actress born on October 19, 1982 in Fukoka, Japan. She gained fame for her work in Mexican TV and film, as well as for providing Spanish American dubbing for Hollywood productions. In 2017, she portrayed Lucy Li on the Telemundo TV series El Chema and voiced Draculaura in the popular Monster High direct-to-video film series. Prior to her success, she first appeared on the reality TV show La Academia and worked in musical theater.
Among her notable roles, Hiromi played Mulan in the satirical musical 12 Princesas en Pugna and provided the Spanish-American dub for Pixar’s Brave as Merida. Tragically, she passed away in September 2017 due to liver bleeding and pregnancy complications. She is survived by her husband.
