Maritza Sayalero, born on February 16, 1961 in Caracas, Venezuela, is a notable beauty pageant contestant. She gained international recognition after winning the Miss Venezuela title in 1979 and later becoming Miss Universe the same year.
Prior to her pageantry success, she started competing in beauty pageants at the age of 18. Beyond her achievements in the world of pageantry, she also owned and managed a boutique where she sold her original designs.
Sayalero is married to Raul Ramirez and together they have three children.
