About Marit Bjorgen
Marit Bjørgen, born on March 21, 1980 in Trondheim, Norway, is a renowned skier. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female cross-country skiers of all time with an impressive record of six gold medals earned between the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
Bjørgen made her Olympic debut at just 21-years old and won a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Notably, she has accumulated numerous World Championship medals, including four golds in 2013 alone.
Outside of her athletic career, Bjørgen maintains a long-standing relationship with fellow Olympian Fred Borre Lundberg. The couple welcomed their son Marius in 2015.
