Marissa Neitling is a television actress born on May 8, 1984, in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She is best known for her roles as Kara in TNT’s The Last Ship and Phoebe in the 2015 film San Andreas.
Prior to her acting career, Neitling attended the Honors College at the University of Oregon where she graduated with a double major in math and theater arts. She later pursued further education at Yale University, earning her Masters of Fine Arts.
In addition to her prominent roles, Neitling had a guest appearance on an episode of Leverage in 2011.
She was born to parents Joy and Stanley Neitling and has a sister named Mackenzie as well as an adopted brother named Adam Dress.
